Construction supervision

• Supervise site safety with the safety department and ensure construction complies with specifications and ITPs.
• Ensure drawings and materials are ready before construction; monitor progress, productivity, budgets, and work quantities.
• Communicate with senior management, resolve issues, and coordinate interfaces across disciplines.
• Conduct quality inspections and assign work fronts to supervisors based on team skills and experience.
• Issue and oversee PTW requirements and subcontractor adherence to permit conditions.
• Attend SMC, STC, and PSSR walkdowns and close associated punch items.
• Promote near-miss and unsafe-act identification; review rental manpower and machinery timesheets.
• Maintain evidence and records of delays, resource shortages, and schedule failures.

HVAC and plumbing work

• Oversee HVAC unit troubleshooting, equipment and duct installation, and control cable pulling, termination, and insulation resistance testing.
• Supervise HVAC startup and commissioning, testing, adjusting, and air balancing.
• Oversee plumbing fixture and equipment installation and underground and above-ground PVC, CPVC, and HDPE piping.
• Supervise hydrotesting of PW and UW water pipes.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering major.
• At least 10 years of civil supervision experience.
• Significant knowledge of project specifications and standards and experience on medium- to large-sized projects.
• Supervisor experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or power plant projects and engineering and construction companies.
• Knowledge of construction management, engineering standards, HVAC controls and installation, piping, commissioning, TAB, and plumbing.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and ITPs; knowledge of safety regulations and construction-site safety.
• Ability to manage budgets, monitor progress, resolve issues, manage subcontractors, inspect quality, and support timely completion.
• Computer application ability, including MS Office.
