Role summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports addressing document-control issues and issue official documents.
• Respond to document-control requirements from clients, the PMT, and subcontractors.
• Supervise and train staff assigned to document-control work.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, field contacts, and supplier contacts on routine administrative matters.
• Act as project system administrator for the document management system.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related major.
• Minimum 5–10 years of document-control experience at a site.
• Competence in document control and working to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and similar tools.

Technical skills and competencies

• Subcontract documentation and method statements.
• Review construction schedules, drawings, and material schedules.
• Review subcontractor manpower, equipment, and schedule plans; set up detailed schedules.
• Progress management and analysis, pending issue reports, and interface management.
