Overview
Summary: The HVAC Project Engineer plays a critical role in the successful execution of HVAC and MEP projects across the UAE, ensuring seamless coordination, compliance with safety standards, and on-time delivery within budget.
This position requires a highly experienced professional with deep technical knowledge of HVAC systems and extensive on-site project management expertise.
The engineer will lead all aspects of project implementation, from initial planning to final commissioning, acting as a key liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage all HVAC project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, including ducting, piping, ventilation, and air conditioning units
- Coordinate with MEP teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless integration and progress
- Review technical drawings, project specifications, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Prepare and maintain detailed project reports, schedules, and documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to UAE safety regulations, industry standards, and project-specific guidelines
- Support timely and cost-effective project delivery through proactive planning and risk management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and MEP projects within the UAE
- Proven track record in managing large-scale HVAC installations and site coordination
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, ductwork, piping, and ventilation
- Excellent understanding of UAE construction regulations, safety standards, and project documentation
- Fluent in Arabic (written and spoken); proficiency in English is essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit) is highly advantageous
