Human resources operations
- Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
- Monitor hiring processes and coordinate applicant screening, reference checks, background checks, and motor vehicle checks.
- Maintain applicant, screening, orientation, transfer, new-hire, and personnel records and logs.
- Assist with new-employee orientation and train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies, and information systems.
- Monitor hiring and recruitment for compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Support payroll record processing and maintenance as needed; inform HR management of employee-relations issues.
- Generate HR data reports and participate on project teams as an HR subject matter expert.
Office and workplace duties
- Create filing systems and office correspondence, answer phone calls, and record messages.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional communication, and positive working relationships.
- May move or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is listed.
Pay
- Pay range is $29.97–$30.02 per hour.
