Supervise and coordinate operations to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
Advise on proper food handling, train new hires and trainees, identify food-operation risks, and advise on product labeling requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide preventive remedial action for identified risks in food operations.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete required safety training and certifications.
- Address guest service needs, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Follow quality expectations and company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Environmental Health or Culinary is preferred.
- Two to four years of related work experience and at least one year of supervisory experience are preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
Schedule and workplace
