Food Process Solutions is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized HR Coordinator focused on payroll and HR operations.
The role maintains employee records, supports compliance with employment standards, and requires ownership, professionalism, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll for all employees in compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain payroll records covering deductions, benefits, and tax filings.
- Perform payroll audits and reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries.
- Prepare headcount, retention, organizational chart, and other HR reports.
- Support recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, communications, and training.
- Manage employee lifecycle records, contracts, onboarding, and offboarding in the HRIS.
- Respond to employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
- Support business visa application preparation and HR policy administration.
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Two to three years of hands-on HR and payroll administration experience.
- Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now and UKG Ready knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency and HRIS implementation experience are assets.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented capabilities.
