Overview

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic pivot point for Tailor & Finch.

You will not only manage the day-to-day people operations but also act as a consultant to leadership on organizational design, culture building, and talent acquisition within the fashion and textile space.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles, including Creative Designers, Supply Chain Coordinators, and E-commerce Specialists.
  • Build a pipeline of talent familiar with the Western fashion market and technical garment production.
  • Enhance the employer brand to attract top-tier talent in the UAE and international fashion hubs.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs that immerse new hires in the Tailor & Finch brand ethos.
  • Design performance management frameworks that reward creativity alongside commercial KPIs.
  • Manage regional HR compliance across the UAE and other operating territories.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and visa processing for international staff.
  • Draft and update employment contracts, handbooks, and internal policies tailored to a fashion business workflow.
  • Identify training needs for the production and design teams to stay ahead of global fashion trends and AI-driven retail tools.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically within the Fashion, Retail, or Luxury Apparel sectors.
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of the fashion product lifecycle (from tech-pack to retail) and how it impacts staffing needs.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law; experience with Saudi Arabia labor markets is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills, a founder's mindset, and the ability to balance corporate structure with creative flexibility.
