Job Summary
- Plan and conducts induction and refresher safety training courses for all Company personnel, contractors and Visitors
- Coordinate firefighting, heat stress and first aid lectures courses with Company.
- Carry out HSE training needs and accident analysis covering all Divisions/Departments
- Conduct Incident/Accident Investigation and produce reports.
- Carry out risk assessments and produce reports
- Conduct Safety Audits/Advanced Safety Audit exercises and produce reports.
- Carry out training courses on the use and care of breathing apparatus and resuscitation equipment to all Company personnel and contractors
- Carry out training in the use of airline breathing apparatus and life support systems
- Coordinate with LR section Abu Dhabi to arrange for external courses in Safety and Industrial hygiene.
- Administer and control the documentation for training programs and maintains all training records
- Deliver Tool box talks, PPE Course and other HSE courses as required
- Coordinate various e-learning programs related to HSE.
- Assist in HSE campaigns on safe driving, heat stress, H2S awareness etc.
- Produce and deliver appropriate HSE awareness courses/sessions as required
- Produce Reports & Deliver Presentations on HSE subjects as requested by Management
- Maintain good working relationship with other Company staff
- Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Secondary School or equivalent
- Completion of an approved programme of training by Professional Institution/ HSE Training Body
- Six years experience of the Oil and Gas Industry in the Safety and Occupational health area.
- Very good standard of written and spoken English Language
- Must be computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills.
