HSE OFFICERS (with 4 years experience in Qatar)

Job Description:

We're currently seeking dedicated HSE Officers to join us. As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will work closely with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Minimum requirements:

• Should have more than 4 years related experience
• Must hold a NEBOSH (IGC/NGC) course certificates or equivalent
• Holder of IOSH (managing safety or working safety) / OSHA
• Familiar with PWA/Ashghal projects is a plus
• 4 years experience letters is mandatory
• Only Freelancer will be accepted
• Must be locally available in Qatar
• A holder of a valid Qatar ID
• Can join immediately.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Support the development of OHS policies and programs.
• Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
• Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
• Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
• Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

Other details:

• Salary: QAR 6,000 per month (all-inclusive)
• Location: Muaither
• Duration: Open-ended
• Shift: 10 hours daily with one (1) day off per week
