Implements, monitors, and maintains company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Health and safety
- Implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs; conduct inspections and risk assessments.
- Monitor safety rules, safe work practices, and PPE use; investigate incidents and maintain records.
- Monitor environmental requirements, waste practices, and potential environmental risks.
- Deliver inductions, awareness training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Support emergency procedures and drills; ensure safety equipment is accessible and maintained.
- Maintain records and reports, follow up corrective actions, support audits, and monitor contractors and visitors.
- Monitor housekeeping, access routes, electrical and fire safety; report unsafe conditions and escalate immediate risks.
- Promote safety improvements and perform other HSE-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant HSE experience in a similar role and knowledge of UAE HSE requirements.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
- First Aid and Fire Safety training or certification is advantageous.
- Requires safety knowledge, hazard identification, communication, reporting, documentation, and training skills.
- Requires problem-solving, decision-making, independent work, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Performance and general duties
- Performance measures include incident reduction, scheduled inspections and audits, timely corrective-action closure, and employee compliance.
- Measures also include completion of training, accurate records, and compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Maintain company confidentiality and follow company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Work location
- Work location is in person in the UAE.
