HSE Manager (UAE-National)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and improvement of the HSE Management System and monitor compliance with regulations, standards, and company requirements.
• Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, assurance activities, and contractor evaluations.
• Support risk assessments, emergency planning, drills, crisis management, and operational HSE guidance.
• Promote behavioral safety programs, awareness campaigns, and a proactive HSE culture.
• Prepare HSE reports, statistics, presentations, and management updates.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent certification is essential; additional professional HSE certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience; Oil & Gas experience is preferred.
• Experience in operational HSE support, risk management, incident investigation, contractor safety, audits, and emergency response.
• Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and international standards; strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems, Control of Work, Permit to Work, and Management of Change.
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to visit operational sites and participate in emergency response activities when required.
