HSE Manager

The Role

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee HSE policies and procedures tailored to construction site requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate safety training programs for all employees and subcontractors to maintain awareness and competence.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to legal and environmental standards.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging with teams at all levels and encouraging incident reporting and prevention.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to senior management for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HSE Manager, preferably within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction-related health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and promote a safety culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Relevant certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
