HSE Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate HSE operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and international standards.
• Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE management systems, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and applicable Saudi occupational health and safety regulations.
• Manage HSE risk assessments, internal audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Monitor and report HSE KPIs, leading and lagging indicators, and overall safety performance.
• Oversee workplace safety across corporate offices and engineering facilities.
• Ensure HSE procedures, PPE requirements, and safety measures are implemented for engineering personnel visiting industrial and Saudi Aramco facilities.
• Lead HSE training, safety awareness initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the HSE team, ensuring effective departmental performance.
• Collaborate with senior management and internal stakeholders to maintain a strong organizational safety culture.
• Identify opportunities to enhance HSE governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in HSE, ideally 20+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of proven HSE management and team leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree mandatory, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in corporate HSE management, governance, compliance, and occupational safety.
• Proven track record managing HSE teams, policies, procedures, audits, and risk management systems.
• Experience within engineering consultancies, EPC contractors, construction, petrochemicals, oil & gas, or industrial services.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and international HSE management standards.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent professional certifications are highly advantageous.
• Previous exposure to Saudi Aramco safety requirements and procedures is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing HSE at a corporate or organizational level, rather than exclusively in site-based construction safety roles.
