HSE Engineer – Offshore Engineering & Construction

The assignment is offshore in the UAE, with five months offshore work followed by one month of paid leave.

The HSE Engineer executes project safety programs, minimizes safety risks, and promotes anticipation and prevention of hazardous workplace conditions.
The assignment is offshore in the UAE, with five months offshore work followed by one month of paid leave.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design reviews from an HSE perspective and support site emergency response activities.
- Identify construction-related HSE issues and monitor PTW, SIMOPS, and JSA procedures.
- Conduct regular site checks and ensure hazards are controlled.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes.
- Review contractor HSE plans and procedures.
- Support HSE awareness, training, inductions, and audits.
Requirements
- Offshore and ADNOC experience are mandatory.
- Requires 8–13 years of relevant HSE experience, with a strong construction and offshore HSE background.
- Knowledge of PTW, SIMOPS, JSA, incident investigation, and emergency response.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Strong communication, reporting, and safety-leadership skills; experience working with contractors, project teams, and client HSE personnel.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is AED 15,000–18,000 per month.
- Offshore benefits include food, accommodation, and transportation; these benefits apply to offshore work only.
