About the role
The employer seeks an experienced, TAQA-approved HSE Engineer for MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline is required.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) and valid TAQA approval are mandatory.
- At least five years of HSE experience in the UAE is required; MEP and construction experience is preferred.
- Previous experience on TAQA projects is requested.
- Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
- IOSH Managing Safely and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
Experience and skills
- Strong knowledge of site safety procedures, risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Experience conducting safety inspections, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and emergency drills.
- Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
Role duties
- Support HSE work on MEP construction projects, applying site safety procedures and relevant safety systems.
- Conduct inspections and toolbox talks, investigate incidents, and carry out emergency drills.
- Maintain safety reporting and documentation.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1 per month.
