Core responsibilities

• Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead and mentor HSE Officers, HSE Engineers, and Road Safety Coordinators.
• Engage with clients to ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance.
• Develop and update HSE training modules based on current industry standards and regulations.
• Lead safety training and awareness programs for employees.
• Liaise with government agencies and internal stakeholders on HSE regulations and standards.
• Maintain communication with internal teams and external partners on HSE matters.
• Review contractors' HSE plans and performance against company standards.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement and safety consciousness among employees.
• Review emergency response plans and prepare monthly HSE performance reports and metrics.

Requirements and qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in HSE roles.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector in Abu Dhabi is preferred.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Proficiency with HSE software tools and applications.
• Candidates must be able to commute to Abu Dhabi or relocate before starting work.
