The Assistant Manager provides administrative and operational support to the HR department across the hospitality group.
This role supports smooth HR operations, employee relations, performance management, compliance with Qatar Labor Law, recruitment, training, and employee development.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively support both management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the HR Manager in day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks across all outlets.
- Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, investigations, grievances, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labor Law, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Support recruitment processes, including job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, personnel files, and contracts.
- Assist in performance management processes, including KPIs, evaluations, appraisals, and annual review cycles.
- Coordinate training sessions, employee development programs, and HR-related activities.
- Support manpower planning, workforce structuring, and staffing requirements.
- Assist in preparing HR documents, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, leave, and attendance.
- Support payroll preparation by tracking attendance, leave, and employee data.
- Coordinate HR calendars, including evaluations, training schedules, and key HR deadlines.
- Support HR audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews.
- Assist in updating HR policies, SOPs, and internal HR controls.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum **5–7 years of HR experience**.
- **Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.**
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee relations, and **Qatar Labor Law**.
- Hospitality or service industry experience is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Team player with a proactive and professional approach.
