The HR Data and Reporting Analyst reports to the Senior Data Analyst and System Lead.
The role supports workforce planning, people metrics, data quality and HR reporting to inform organisational decisions.
The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, paying £53,000 per annum, with some hybrid working possible in Bedford.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HR data integrity and accuracy; investigate and resolve data issues and improve data processes.
- Validate, reconcile, cleanse and maintain workforce information from multiple sources.
- Update and audit workforce data in HR systems and resolve discrepancies.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc HR reports, dashboards and people metrics.
- Work with HR and business stakeholders to understand requirements and improve workforce information processes.
- Analyse workforce trends to support workforce planning and people initiatives.
- Explain complex workforce data as clear, actionable information for stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience with HR data and systems and how data is captured, maintained and used in HR processes.
- Strong Excel and data manipulation skills, including cleaning, matching, validating and reconciling large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy and investigative issue resolution.
- Experience analysing data from multiple sources and producing meaningful workforce insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including explaining technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools; Power Query and Power BI are highly desirable.
