Overview

The HR Assistant will support the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and integrates the right talent efficiently.

This role is responsible for screening candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing employment documentation, issuing offer letters, and ensuring every new employee completes a smooth onboarding and induction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment
  • Review and shortlist CVs based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial telephone screening interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain an up-to-date recruitment tracker.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.

• Offer & Documentation

  • Prepare and issue offer letters.
  • Collect and verify employment documentation.
  • Coordinate employment contracts and joining formalities.
  • Ensure all employee files are complete and compliant before joining.
  • Onboarding
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and induction.
  • Prepare onboarding schedules and checklists.
  • Introduce new employees to company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Coordinate mandatory onboarding training.
  • Ensure all onboarding requirements are completed before handover to the department.
  • HR Administration
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare recruitment and onboarding reports.
  • Support the HR department with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of HR or recruitment experience.
  • Previous experience in a fitness, health, wellness, hospitality, or service-based company will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
