Role Description
The HR Assistant role at Yellow And Black is a full-time remote position supporting day-to-day human resources operations.
This role involves maintaining employee records, updating HRIS data, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes.
The HR Assistant helps coordinate benefits administration, responds to employee inquiries, and supports compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities also include scheduling and tracking training activities, preparing HR-related documentation and reports, and collaborating with managers to ensure smooth communication across the organization.
The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting both employees and HR leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support core HR processes and policies.
- Practical experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee data and generate basic reports.
- Knowledge of Benefits Administration, including assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
- Experience supporting Training activities such as scheduling sessions, tracking participation, and maintaining training records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace, video conferencing platforms).
- Prior experience in a creative, agency, or boutique environment is an advantage but not required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
