Housing Client Relationship Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage the full renewal process, prepare submissions, and gather risk information.
• Negotiate renewal terms, explore markets, and support client presentations.
• Prepare renewal and mid-term documents; produce risk presentations and compare quotations and cover.
• Maintain accurate client data, support PRISM requirements, and keep audit trails.
• Liaise with insurers and internal teams; manage policy placement, documentation, and follow-up.
• Handle client queries and support credit control and account-query resolution.

Candidate requirements

• Strong commercial or corporate insurance account management experience and confidence with complex mid-corporate and large risks.
• Knowledge of insurance products, Lloyd’s/London Market, risk principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Client-focused relationship skills; ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work to SLA targets and performance metrics.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, negotiation, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• CII qualification (Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII) held or in progress is requested.
• GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English, and strong MS Office skills.
• Flexibility to attend client meetings in person or via Teams.
