Job Summary
A Doha-based hospitality company is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and support staff management in a hotel environment.
The role involves supervising housekeeping activities, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining supplies and cleanliness in guest and public areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff and daily cleaning tasks
- Inspect rooms and public spaces for cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
- Assign duties and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff
- Report maintenance or repair needs to relevant departments
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and linens
- Assist with enforcing hygiene and safety standards
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Hospitality or related field
- At least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, with 1+ year in a supervisory role
- Familiarity with hotel software systems (Opera, IDS, or similar)
- Ability to lead a team and maintain quality standards
- Proficient in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Applicants must be located in Qatar with a transferable visa
