The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the housekeeping department and helps deliver a clean hotel and memorable guest experiences.
Housekeeping operations
- Ensure smooth operation of the assigned floor and upkeep and cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Supervise housekeeping attendants and oversee their performance.
- Organize room making, daily room allocation, and deep-cleaning tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and back-of-house areas on the assigned floor.
- Inspect occupied and departure rooms, guest bedrooms, and public areas against hotel standards.
- Know room categories and amenities and attend to guest needs.
Guest service and team coordination
- Arrange guest needs promptly and coordinate with housekeeping leadership.
- Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities, and communicate them to relevant team members.
- Resolve guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with training requirements and represent team needs to others in the hotel.
- Assist other departments when needed and maintain good working relationships.
Safety and property procedures
- Carry out lost and found procedures and report maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Report property or furniture damage, ensure follow-up, and complete a log report at shift end.
- Comply with hotel security, fire, health, and safety requirements.
