Job Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility, warehouse, production areas, and surrounding work areas. Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP requirements, and company sanitation standards. Perform pre shift inspections of industrial sweepers and other cleaning equipment to ensure safe operation. Safely operate industrial sweepers, pallet jacks, balers, and other housekeeping equipment. Clean and maintain sweepers and other equipment after each use. Remove paper waste, scrap material, debris, and other recyclable materials from production and warehouse areas. Operate small balers and assist with recycling and waste management activities. Maintain the exterior of the facility, including entrances, walkways, parking areas, and other designated outdoor areas as assigned. Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards to supervision. Assist production and warehouse operations as needed to support workflow, quality standards, and production schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and operating procedures. Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in industrial housekeeping, manufacturing, warehouse, janitorial, or facility maintenance preferred. Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment and material handling equipment preferred. Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, work orders, and quality documentation. Basic mathematical and computer skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, stand, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
