Role overview

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, and polish to keep the club clean and presentable; clean all allocated areas to established standards.
• Inspect areas, document deficiencies or repair needs, and promptly notify management.
• Complete heavy cleaning and special projects; organize supply rooms and keep supplies and equipment properly stored and available.
• Follow health and safety regulations for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and waste.
• Assist members and visitors with inquiries and requests professionally and collaborate with staff to maintain club hygiene.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently and efficiently, and organizational skills for maintaining multiple areas.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment; ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for member and visitor interactions.
• Ability to read and write in English to report work-related issues.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
