The Hotel General Manager oversees day-to-day hotel operations and guest and event-participant experience.
This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with on-site management and work-from-home planning and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and manage reservations and front-of-house services.
- Coordinate conference and event logistics.
- Maintain guest service standards and oversee budgeting, vendor relationships, and facilities upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to align hotel services with its mission and guest expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel or hospitality management, including staff supervision and daily operations coordination.
- Skills in guest services, conflict resolution, budgeting, basic financial reporting, and cost control.
- Ability to manage event logistics, including room allocations, schedules, and conference-organizer coordination.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with hotel management or reservation systems and common office software.
- A relevant diploma or degree is preferred; knowledge of Abu Dhabi hospitality regulations and safety standards is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote and on-site settings.
