Full-time schedule at the Palm Jumeirah property in Dubai; not remote.
Role responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
- Prepare availability reports; verify room status, resolve discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update status for departing guests.
- Assist daily housekeeping operations and coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document room-status issues with the Front Desk; communicate assignment changes and shift handovers.
- Complete paperwork and use computers or point-of-sale systems for work information.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee development.
- Follow safety and quality procedures, report maintenance needs and hazards, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect company information and assets, and support coworkers and team goals.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Desirable qualifications and work demands
- A high school diploma or GED is desirable.
- At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
- The posting lists at least one year of supervisory experience as desirable and also states no supervisory experience.
- Work involves frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, handling objects, and moving across confined, elevated, inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Lift or move loads up to 55 pounds independently; heavier loads require assistance.
