Role Description
We are seeking a Hot Section Cook - Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our team in an exciting on-site contract role at our Mumbai location.
The role involves preparing, cooking, and plating dishes from the hot section with precision and creativity, while maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.
The Chef de Partie will collaborate with the kitchen team to manage daily operations, oversee junior staff, and ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
also include monitoring stock levels, maintaining an organized workstation, and adhering to food safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hot section food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating skills
- Experience in kitchen operations, including stock management and staff coordination
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines, hygiene standards, and kitchen cleanliness practices
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
- Culinary degree or professional background in the food industry is preferred
- Passion for creating high-quality dishes with an emphasis on health-conscious recipes
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset
