We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hot Kitchen Cook / Commis to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes in the hot kitchen section, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
This is a great opportunity to grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Only candidates available to join immediately will be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist senior chefs with kitchen duties and food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Monitor food stock and report shortages when necessary
- Ensure timely and efficient service during meal periods
Qualifications
- Can join IMMEDIATELY
- Have transferable work visa
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willing to learn, take direction, and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven experience as a cook or commis in a hot kitchen (restaurant, hotel, or catering preferred)
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- **Must be available to join immediately**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
