Develop, produce, and deliver multimedia content for a digital business media platform, including short-form video, programs, interviews, and panel discussions.
Translate business news, insights, and analysis into engaging digital-first formats while maintaining journalistic accuracy, brand consistency, and audience relevance.
The role covers ideation, research, scripting, production, post-production, and on-camera presentation.
Editorial and production responsibilities
- Research and pitch stories about business, startups, finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship; interview executives, founders, experts, and policymakers.
- Write and edit scripts, articles, captions, and supporting content to journalistic standards; cover events, press conferences, and business forums.
- Produce and edit reels, explainers, highlights, and 5–15 minute digital programs, including interviews and panel discussions.
- Coordinate panels, roundtables, and debates; manage guests, moderators, filming setup, audio, lighting, and post-production.
- Present or host on-camera segments when required.
- Work with social media, marketing, and digital teams to align content with audience goals, monitor performance, and adapt storytelling formats.
- Maintain consistent brand tone, visuals, and messaging; follow business trends and new digital media formats.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of business and financial topics; proven short-form and long-form video production experience.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar.
- Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills; comfortable appearing on camera and working to tight deadlines.
- 5–8 years of experience in digital media, journalism, or multimedia production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
