The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A friendly demeanor, exceptional customer service and the ability to multitask contribute to the overall success of this position.

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude.
• Manage guest flow, take reservations, manage wait list, assign tables, ensure fair and efficient seating.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area and waiting area.
• Assist in clearing dishes and cleaning tables.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables, present menus, and assist with seating arrangements, accommodate special seating requests if possible.
• Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns.
• Obtain knowledge of daily specials, menu items and restaurant promotions.
• Maintain a professional, polished appearance, adhering to company standards.

• Previous customer service or restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle high-volume situations efficiently.
• Ability to remain calm and composed, providing excellent service even during busy times.
• A positive and friendly demeanor.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift 40lbs, stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop throughout shift.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus but not required
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus but not required

• Endurance: Ability to stand and walk continuously for the duration of a shift
• Mobility: Capable of bending, kneeling, and safely lifting or carrying items (such as menus and occasional food trays).
• Ability to lift 35lbs without assistance
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant volume
