is seeking an experienced
Honeywell Safety Engineer
to support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of Honeywell Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) within Oil & Gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and commission Honeywell Safety Manager systems.
- Support Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Fire & Gas (F&G) system activities.
- Perform cause-and-effect testing, logic validation, and functional safety verification.
- Execute system modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve safety system issues.
- Support startup and commissioning activities at site.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and project requirements.
- Prepare commissioning records and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in Automation and Safety Systems.
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Honeywell Safety Manager systems.
- Strong Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Proven experience in site commissioning and troubleshooting of safety systems.
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
Technical Skills
- Honeywell Safety Manager (SMSC R213 or higher)
• Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS)
- System Validation and Troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- TÜV Functional Safety Engineer Certification.
- Honeywell Safety Manager training/certification.
- Offshore commissioning experience.
- Site safety and access certifications.
