Homecare Nurse Manager

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Manage nursing operations, patient assignments, rosters, skill matching, and continuity of care.
• Lead patient assessment, care planning, clinical handovers, and escalation of complex or deteriorating cases.
• Develop SOPs for nursing visits, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, sample collection, chronic care, elderly care, and emergency escalation.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR and audit-ready patient records.
• Support DHA licensing, inspections, staff credentialing, BLS and immunisation records, and mandatory clinical documentation.
• Recruit, orient, train, and assess nurses, healthcare assistants, and caregivers.
• Conduct clinical audits, incident reviews, infection-control monitoring, and corrective or preventive actions.
• Coordinate with physicians, physiotherapists, laboratories, pharmacies, ambulance providers, and other care partners.
• Monitor patient satisfaction, complaints, service recovery, and quality of care.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc Nursing with a valid or eligible DHA licence.
• 5–8 years of nursing experience, preferably in the UAE or homecare.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, patient safety, and documentation.
• DHA inspection or licensing experience is preferred.
• BLS is required; ACLS, quality, or infection-control certification is advantageous.
