Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Home Healthcare Physiotherapist role based in Riyadh.
The physiotherapist will visit patients in their homes to assess physical function, mobility, and pain levels, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with medical recommendations.
Daily responsibilities include delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, using appropriate modalities and equipment, and monitoring progress over time.
The role involves educating patients and family members on home exercise programs, safe mobility, and prevention of further injury or complications.
The physiotherapist will document assessments and treatment sessions accurately, coordinate with the wider healthcare team, and ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully, and in accordance with professional standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Clinical physiotherapy skills, including patient assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise prescription, and use of rehabilitation techniques and equipment.
- Strong patient-care and communication abilities, with capacity to educate patients and families, build trust, and adapt explanations to different ages and backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills to schedule home visits efficiently, prioritize caseloads, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Ability to work independently in home settings while collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license or eligibility for licensure in Saudi Arabia, with compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in home healthcare, rehabilitation, or musculoskeletal/neurological physiotherapy is preferred.
- Comfort working in patients’ homes, with cultural sensitivity and a patient-centered, respectful approach to care.
- Proficiency in relevant documentation systems; ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
- Fluency in Arabic and/or English is an advantage; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are highly beneficial.
