The employer is seeking an experienced and responsible Heavy Bus Driver in Abu Dhabi to transport employees, passengers, or staff on assigned routes and schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy buses on assigned routes in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates when required, transporting passengers safely and on time.
- Follow routes, schedules, and supervisor instructions; conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems.
- Maintain bus cleanliness and condition, and ensure passengers follow safety procedures and board and disembark safely.
- Follow UAE traffic laws and company policies; report accidents, breakdowns, defects, or other issues immediately.
- Maintain trip sheets, fuel records, and other documentation; assist passengers and cooperate with transport, operations, and maintenance teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Heavy Bus Driver experience and a valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License.
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and routes, UAE traffic rules, and basic heavy vehicle maintenance.
- A clean and safe driving record; good communication and interpersonal skills; reliability, punctuality, and responsibility.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
- UAE or GCC driving experience is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience transporting company employees or workers, or working in staff transportation or large fleet operations, is preferred.
- Defensive driving training or certification is advantageous.
- Experience in construction, logistics, transport, oil and gas, or industrial companies is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay starts at AED 4,000 per month.
