Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve HVAC systems for interior fit-out projects in compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.
• Prepare and review MEP design and shop drawings.
• Oversee and manage MEP installations for interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations for HVAC systems for fit out works.
• Prepare HVAC load calculations, ducting layouts, and equipment selection reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth execution.
• Supervise installation works, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to HVAC installation or performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during execution.
• Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests (IRs).
• Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary HVAC-related approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6-8 years of UAE experience in HVAC works in the office interior fit-out sector.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, ducting systems, chilled water systems, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Duct Sizer), and MS Office.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, ASHRAE standards, and local authority regulations.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with integrated MEP coordination in fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of green building and energy-efficient HVAC systems.
