Position Summary
- Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of vital hotel functions, working across departments to support cleaning needs.
- Tasks include preparing clean linen and dining ware, operating cleaning equipment, and transporting dishware or linens.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers).
- Transport dishware or linens across the hotel.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
