Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Health Specialist role based at Cutis Skin Care Clinic in Indore.
The Health Specialist will assess and manage patients with skin, hair, and nail concerns under established clinical protocols and in collaboration with senior clinicians.
Daily responsibilities include taking patient histories, assisting with examinations and minor procedures, supporting cosmetic and aesthetic treatments, and providing clear pre- and post-treatment guidance.
The role involves health promotion activities such as counseling on skincare, hair care, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
The Health Specialist will also coordinate appointments, maintain accurate medical records, support infection control practices, and contribute to a respectful, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain medical information clearly and build trust with diverse patients.
- Proven Customer Service and patient-care skills, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and maintaining patient comfort.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health principles, including clinic safety, infection control, and safe handling of equipment and materials.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine or clinical practice, preferably in dermatology, cosmetology, trichology, or related fields.
- Experience or interest in Health Promotion, including counseling on prevention, lifestyle, and long-term skin and hair health.
- Relevant clinical qualification (e.g., nursing, health sciences, dermatology technician, or similar) and applicable local certifications or licenses.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and follow clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Basic computer skills for electronic medical records, scheduling, and documentation; willingness to learn clinic-specific systems.
- Prior experience in a dermatology, cosmetology, or aesthetic clinic is an advantage but not mandatory.
