We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to join our pre-opening team.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role is responsible for leading the hotel's health, safety, and sustainability initiatives to ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operation.

The successful candidate will champion a culture of wellbeing, risk management, and environmental stewardship while supporting Faena's commitment to regenerative tourism and creating meaningful experiences that positively impact both people and the planet.

Implement and maintain health, safety, security, and loss prevention policies, procedures, and programs across the property.

Promote a culture of safety awareness, accountability, and proactive risk management throughout the hotel.

Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire safety programs, evacuation drills, and crisis management plans.

Investigate accidents, incidents, security breaches, and loss prevention matters, ensuring appropriate reporting and corrective actions.

Monitor compliance with local regulations, company standards, and health and safety requirements.

Deliver training and awareness programs related to workplace safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and security procedures.

Work closely with Engineering, People & Culture, and operational departments to ensure safe working practices are maintained.

Support contractor and supplier compliance with hotel health and safety standards.

Maintain relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and regulatory bodies.

Monitor security systems, access control procedures, and loss prevention measures to protect hotel assets.

Prepare safety reports, incident analysis, and compliance documentation for management review.

Support pre-opening activities by establishing health, safety, and security standards, procedures, and training programs.

Assist in managing departmental budgets and resources to ensure efficient operation of the Health, Safety & Sustainability function.
