Head Research
About the Role
The Head – Research will lead the research function supporting the Chairman's digital and thought leadership presence. The role is responsible for identifying, validating, synthesizing, and translating complex information into actionable insights, narratives, briefs, and knowledge assets that support speeches, articles, interviews, social media content, public engagements, and strategic communications. The position combines deep research capability with editorial judgment, ensuring that every piece of content is grounded in credible facts, relevant context, and a balanced understanding of business, policy, economic, geopolitical, sustainability, technology, and social issues. The role will act as the central knowledge engine for the Brand Foundry, working closely with Digital Presence, Editorial, Content, Studio, and Life Ledger teams.

Qualifications
- 12–15 years of professional experience in research, strategic communications, public policy, consulting, journalism, corporate strategy, knowledge management, or related domains.
- Prior experience as Research Head, Knowledge Lead, Editorial Research Lead, Strategy Research Lead, Policy Research Lead, or equivalent will be preferred.
- Strong experience in preparing executive briefings, leadership communications, white papers, reports, and analytical publications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage research teams and deliver high-quality outputs within demanding timelines.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled research platforms, databases, and intelligence tools.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Hindi will be an advantage.
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, Journalism, or a related discipline preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end research function for Chairman-related communications and digital presence initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth research across business, economy, technology, infrastructure, energy, sustainability, policy, geopolitics, innovation, and emerging trends.
- Develop research notes, backgrounders, briefing documents, talking points, fact sheets, and executive summaries for speeches, interviews, events, and public engagements.
- Establish robust fact-checking and source validation processes to ensure accuracy and credibility of published content.
- Monitor national and global developments, identifying topics relevant to the Chairman's interests and public positioning.
- Build and maintain a structured knowledge repository, including research archives, reference databases, and thematic content libraries.
- Translate complex information into concise and actionable insights for content creators and leadership stakeholders.
- Collaborate with editorial, digital, and design teams to ensure research inputs are effectively reflected in final content.
- Leverage AI-powered research and intelligence tools to improve research efficiency while maintaining human verification standards.
- Lead special research projects, trend analyses, competitive benchmarking, and reputation intelligence initiatives.
- Guide and develop a team of analysts and researchers while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as Research Head, Knowledge Lead, Editorial Research Lead, Strategy Research Lead, Policy Research Lead, or equivalent will be preferred.
