Overview

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead Xantory’s Security Operations Center (SOC) in Dubai — people, processes, tooling, and 24/7 operating model.
• Define and execute the cyber security strategy across endpoint, network, cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), and OT environments.
• Own GDPR and UAE Data Protection Law (PDPL) compliance, including DPIAs, records of processing, data subject rights, and cross-border transfer mechanisms.
• Establish and maintain an ISMS aligned to ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and SOC 2 — including audit readiness and certification.
• Lead incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and red/blue team activities.
• Run third-party and supply-chain security reviews for vendors, resellers, and integration partners.
• Advise project teams on secure-by-design architecture for client deployments (IT and OT).
• Develop security awareness and training programs across the organization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and client security teams.

Must-Have

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in cyber security, with at least 2 years in a leadership or SOC management role.
• CISSP or CISM certification.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with SOC 2 and NIST CSF implementation.
• Deep working knowledge of GDPR — practical, not theoretical (DPIAs, DPAs, breach notification, Art. 28/32).
• Experience designing and operating SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IAM, and vulnerability management stacks.
• Strong incident response and forensics background.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong plus
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer.
• CIPP/E or CIPM.
• German language skills.
• Familiarity with UAE PDPL, DIFC and ADGM data protection regimes.
• Exposure to OT / industrial control system security (manufacturing, agritech, pharma).
• Experience standing up a SOC from scratch.
