We are hiring a Head of Procurement to lead sourcing and inventory planning for a multi-brand, inventory-led business with a strong reliance on international suppliers.
The role will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of products across operations while optimizing cost, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
This position requires close coordination with brand teams, operations, and finance, along with a strong understanding of procurement cycles, supplier dynamics, and inventory control.
1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify and onboard suppliers across key categories, with a focus on reliability and scalability
Lead commercial negotiations, including:
Pricing and volume-based discount structures
Payment terms and credit arrangements
Delivery timelines and service levels
Develop a clear understanding of supplier constraints, including:
Minimum Order Quantities (Moq)
Production and shipment lead times
2. Inventory Planning & Replenishment Control
Own inventory visibility and planning across brands and operational units
Define and manage:
Reorder points (when to trigger procurement)
Safety stock levels to handle demand and supply variability
Inventory holding periods based on consumption trends
Monitor stock levels and sales velocity to:
Anticipate stock-out risks
Trigger replenishment in a timely manner
Ensure alignment between demand forecasts, MOQ requirements, and supplier lead times
3. Demand Consolidation & Internal Coordination
Work closely with brand teams to understand product requirements and demand plans
Coordinate with operations teams to track actual consumption trends and on-ground realities
Consolidate demand across units to optimize procurement volumes and pricing
Act as the central coordination point between internal teams and suppliers

Procurement Process Management (PR/PO & Finance Coordination)
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including:
Preparation and validation of Purchase Requisitions (PR)
Issuance and tracking of Purchase Orders (PO)
Ensure alignment with finance on:
Budgets and approvals
Payment timelines and vendor settlements
Maintain discipline and transparency in procurement documentation and workflows
5. Supply Continuity & Risk Management
Maintain adequate buffer stock (safety stock) to absorb:
Demand fluctuations
Supplier or logistics delays
Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation plans
Ensure continuity of supply across all operational units
6. Cost Optimization & Working Capital Management
Balance bulk procurement benefits with inventory holding costs
Optimize order quantities in line with MOQ and demand patterns
Drive cost efficiencies through supplier negotiations and consolidation
7. Process, Systems & Performance Tracking
Establish procurement processes and standard operating procedures
Track and monitor:
Inventory levels and turnover
Supplier performance and lead times
Procurement cycle timelines
Drive continuous improvement in procurement and inventory management practices
Experience & Profile
- 10–15+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
- Experience in inventory-led environments such as retail, consumer goods, or multi-unit operations
- Exposure to international sourcing and supplier management
- Strong understanding of inventory planning concepts, including reorder points, safety stock, and demand trends
- Proven ability to manage supplier negotiations and procurement cycles
Skills
- Strong commercial and negotiation capability
- Good understanding of inventory and working capital dynamics
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions
- Structured and detail-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
