Role Overview
The Head of Operations manages regional land project operations across the GCC and leads a local team of department managers.
The role oversees engineering, operations, project management, and maintenance activities to deliver cost-effective solutions for customers.
The role is part of the Global Extended Leadership Team and serves as a statutory Director in the region.
Responsibilities
- Drive regional operational strategy with global leadership and lead performance against business, safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Oversee project execution, office and field coordination, operational planning, escalations, scope management, variations, and upselling.
- Ensure compliance with QHSSE, equipment maintenance, operational, and company standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, sustainability initiatives, and environmental responsibility programs.
- Build and develop the regional Operations team through coaching, capability development, and succession planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a similar business operations or project management position is required.
- Experience in heavy lifting and transportation is required.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills are required, including the ability to communicate organizational mission and vision.
