Civil Engineer responsible for civil and structural construction activities and site execution.
Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Oversee site work to meet engineering standards, approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
- Monitor daily site operations, concrete pours, structural and foundation works, and civil/infrastructure execution.
- Review civil, architectural, and structural drawings, technical calculations, and shop drawings.
- Liaise with municipalities and authorities on permits, inspections, and code compliance.
- Maintain daily site logs, inspection records, and progress reports; enforce HSE standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to support schedule and budget.
Required qualifications and credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- UAE work permits and approvals, including applicable municipality or authority accreditation, are required.
- Valid UAE light-vehicle driving licence for site visits and travel between sites.
- At least four years of civil engineering or site supervision experience inside the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera P6, or MS Project, and familiarity with UAE building codes and FIDIC contracts.
- Arabic is required.
