Head of Logistics and Tendering, Distributor Organization Center

About This Role

As a key member of the Distributor Organization Center leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics and tendering strategies to support Hilti's Distributor network across Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. This newly created role is critical to executing the Distributors Organization strategy, with particular focus on direct shipment capabilities and Direct to Customer business for large project opportunities in markets without Hilti entities. You will ensure operational excellence, compliance, and optimal supply chain performance while supporting the transformation and growth of our distributor partnerships globally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategic Leadership:

• Drive distributor logistics transformation across Middle East, Asia, and Latin America
• Support Direct to Customer supply chain framework implementation for large project opportunities

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, export controls, and local requirements
• Implement monitoring systems to validate transaction and opportunity compliance
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams to mitigate cross-border risks

Operational Management:

• Develop and Manage logistics costs, budgets, and productivity targets (KPI)
• Drive service excellence through exceeding distributor and customer service levels (KPI)
• Optimize inventory investment and contribute to regional net working capital targets (KPI)
• Lead tendering process for large Direct to Customer project opportunities
• Develop commercial frameworks and pricing strategies for Added Value Logistics

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

• Build and develop high-performing logistics team through structured performance management
• Closely cooperate and align with HQ functions, Collaborate across Distributor Organization, Regional MOs, BUs, and functional teams
• Partner with distributors and transport department to enhance logistics capabilities across regions

Continuous Improvement:

• Challenge and evolve operational and supply chain concepts
• Monitor emerging logistics and trade trends to maintain competitive advantage
• Lead change management initiatives supporting strategy implementation

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field; MBA preferred
• Extensive international supply chain logistics experience
• Strong understanding of cross-border trade, customs, and compliance across multiple regions
• Experience with distributor networks in emerging markets advantageous

Technical Skills:

• Ability to lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools and techniques
• Deep supply chain network knowledge and commercial acumen
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis)
• Knowledge of ERP and supply chain management systems

Business Knowledge:

• Understanding of Hilti Business Model and organizational structure
• Knowledge of construction industry and market dynamics
• Commercial mindset focused on cost optimization and value creation
