Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the litigation department, ensuring high standards of legal work and service delivery.
- Develop litigation strategies aligned with clients’ interests and the firm’s objectives.
- Mentor and develop the legal team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Review case strategies, legal submissions, pleadings, and other critical work for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Monitor departmental performance, workflows, and deadlines.
- Guide complex, high-stakes disputes with sound judgment and strong decision-making.
- Build a culture of professionalism, ownership, and excellence.
Ideal candidate
- Extensive litigation and dispute resolution experience with a record of handling complex matters.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking, and maturity navigating challenging legal and business situations.
- Ability to mentor, inspire, and develop legal professionals.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
