We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic **Head of Internal Audit** to lead and strengthen our internal audit and risk management functions.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and strong financial governance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the internal audit department and audit activities
- Develop audit plans, risk assessments, and compliance strategies
- Evaluate financial and operational processes to identify risks and improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management
- Monitor internal controls and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Support corporate governance and business process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or finance leadership
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, compliance, and financial regulations
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
