The Opportunity
You will take full ownership of the Gymnastics business unit, leading its strategy, operations and commercial performance.
You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience, developing a high-performing coaching team, growing participation, improving retention and ensuring the programme continues to be recognised as one of the best in the region.
Leadership
- Lead and inspire a team of full-time and freelance gymnastics coaches.
- Recruit, mentor and develop coaching talent.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage team performance, scheduling and workforce planning.
Programme Excellence
- Design and continuously improve recreational and competitive gymnastics programmes.
- Ensure consistently high coaching standards across all classes.
- Monitor athlete progression and programme quality.
- Create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for every participant.
Commercial Performance
- Take ownership of programme revenue, profitability and capacity utilisation.
- Deliver monthly and annual business targets.
- Identify opportunities to grow participation and improve member retention.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop campaigns, events and community engagement initiatives.
Member Experience
- Build strong relationships with athletes and parents.
- Ensure exceptional service standards across every touchpoint.
- Resolve member concerns professionally and proactively.
- Continuously improve the customer experience.
Operations
- Manage scheduling, facility utilisation and equipment.
- Ensure operational standards and safety procedures are maintained.
- Oversee programme administration and reporting.
- Plan and deliver internal events, showcases and competitions.
What We'Re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience leading a gymnastics programme or department.
- Proven experience managing and developing coaching teams.
- Strong understanding of recreational and competitive gymnastics pathways.
- Experience managing budgets, revenue and programme performance.
- Demonstrated success growing participation and improving member retention.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Passion for developing both athletes and coaches.
