Role overview
Part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, with flexibility to work from home.
Oversees strategic development initiatives for the publication, including growth opportunities, partnerships, and new editorial and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of development projects and collaborate with editorial and leadership teams on long-term strategy.
- Coordinate research for new offerings and market expansion; manage project timelines and budgets.
- Guide cross-functional teams, review performance data, and report progress to senior stakeholders.
- Build relationships with partners and contributors to strengthen the publication’s regional and global footprint.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, team management and leadership experience, and hands-on research and development experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience in media, publishing, or a related industry; international or Pan-African focus is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages relevant to Africa or the MENA region are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, International Relations, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Ability to balance Abu Dhabi office collaboration with remote work.
