Role overview

Settlement and custody

• Oversee trade settlement and custody operations and manage the full lifecycle from execution to final settlement.
• Safeguard client assets and money in line with CMA requirements.
• Run daily reconciliations with Edaa, Muqassa, custodian, and bank records.

Operations, risk, and compliance

• Build reliable operations that can scale with company growth.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures; automate processes to reduce manual errors.
• Monitor market practice and regulation to keep operations compliant.
• Assess operational risks and implement controls to protect the company and its clients.

Experience and qualifications

• 5+ years in securities operations focused on custody and post-trade.
• Saudi market experience and hands-on knowledge of Tadawul, Edaa, and Muqassa processes.
• Experience leading an operations team at a CMA-licensed Capital Market Institution or custodian.
• Pass CME-1A and CME-1B or receive a CMA exemption; qualifying previous-series certificates are accepted.
• Be eligible for CMA Registered Person registration and meet fit-and-proper criteria.
• Be resident in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate.

Skills and languages

• Fluent English; Arabic is strongly preferred.
• Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and team coordination are required.
• The role values follow-through and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment.
